Masterpiece Theatre, Tweeting at ENMU, and 2 events at the library

Did you miss the season two opener of Downton Abbey Sunday night?  Never fear!  If you are just hearing about Downton Abbey, you can also catch all of season one.  PBS's Masterpiece Theater is available to stream online.  My sister told me about this show [we are fans of British humor and the cultural anthropology of Gosford Park (same writer/creator, Julian Fellowes)].

If you are more interested in the here and now, today at 5:30pm, ENMU-Ruidoso offers a community education class on Twitter.

If housing is an immediate concern, Ruidoso Public Library is the place to be tomorrow, January 10, 2-4 pm.  Tierra Del Sol Housing Corp, out of Las Cruces, presents information on the USDA's Rural Development Housing program, which offer "502" loans to target low income individuals and households to purchase homes in rural areas.  Whether you are the house-hunter or a lendor/realtor, please drop in.  For more information on Tierra Del Sol and the USDA please call Sonia Jones-575-882-3554 or Jesus Lozoya, Jr- 575-541-0477.

Finally, meet me Friday to learn about the library's genealogical databases.  At 10 am, I'll talk about Ancestry Library Edition, Heritage Quest (which you can use from home), and FamilySearch.org.  If you haven't looked at your family history, feel free to drop in anyways, as this will introduce you to the how's, tools, and where-to-starts.
