Friday, April 11 at 11 am Book talk with Corey Bard and Climate discussion with New Mexico State Climatologist, David Dubois.

Corey Bard invites you to discuss Arctic Drift by Clive Cussler. Climate is one of the central topics of ‘Arctic Drift’, an action adventure story which features hero, Dirk Pitt, searching for the wreckage of a ship that sank a hundred and fifty years ago while searching for the Northwest Passage—regions navigable today because of climate change. David Dubois will discuss the climates and weather patterns found in New Mexico. He will, also discuss the basic elements of climate change of the past, present, and possible future. He will conclude with how we can adapt to the climate and changes in climate.

Pushing The Limits is an exploration of science topics in collaboration with four novels sponsored by a grant from the CALIFA organization. Arctic Drift is the first of the four novels we will be discussing over the next few months.
