After years of preparation, the Library of Congress has launched its National Jukebox.

This site offers you a chance to hear ragtime from 100 years ago--straight off the Internet.

You can download playlists of jazz and American classics.

If you are new to "downloads," "audio files," "formats," and "streaming," the Library has a help page.

Make it your home page to enjoy the full variety of their offerings.

N.B.: This Thursday's Mini-College cancelled.
