Local Author talks about book @ the Library

Welcome:
Dr. Cynthia E. Orozco to discuss her book & sign copies.

Dr. Cynthia  E. Orozco, Eastern New Mexico University-Ruidoso Chair of  the History & Humanities Department,  will be at the Village of Ruidoso Public Library, Thursday, July 29 @ 2 pm to discuss her book No Mexicans, Women, or Dogs Allowed: The Rise of the Mexican American Civil Rights Movement.  Her book incorporates issues of race, class, gender, and citizenship to create bold new understandings of a pivotal period of activism.
